Our Mission
The Forest County Humane Society is a non-profit, no-kill shelter in the great northwoods, located in Crandon, Wisconsin. We rescue, rehabilitate and adopt out all breeds of dogs and cats. We have embraced our mission of rescuing animals for the past 21 years. We are committed to being the shelter from the storm and a safe haven for all companion animals by providing food, medical care and human tenderness. We take a firm stand against animal cruelty and abuse and through community education and adoption services, we continue to enrich the lives of animals.
