The HSMC is a private all cat shelter located in Christiansburg, Virginia. We house between 80-120 cats at any given time. We are a no kill shelter and will never euthanize an animal due to lack of space. All animals are given vaccinations, dewormed, treated for fleas/ticks, and spayed/neutered before adoption. Our adoption fee is $35.00. We have an application process and a contract signed at the time of adoption that requires animals be returned to our shelter if they are not able to be kept by the adopter. We are committed to our animals for their entire lives. We are proud to be celebrating 50 years of service to the animals! We are funded solely by donations.
