Our Mission
The SPCA of Hernando County Rescue Ranch and Shelter is located in western Hernando County Florida. We provide so much more than shelter. Our sheltered pets enjoy calm and cozy living areas designed with their comfort and contentment in mind. We are a private Non-Profit organization whose mission is to shelter, spay/neuter and re-home as many cats and dogs in need as we can. We run strictly on donations. Our shelter has a No Kill policy which means that all sheltered pets processed into our facility are safe from being euthanized. If we do not find the perfect forever family for them, they will live with us for the rest of their natural life.
